Max Health™ Award Lecture at NZHPA conference

The winner of the NZHPA Max Health™ Pharmacy Grant for 2013, Avril Lee from Waitemata DHB presented an interesting talk at the NZHPA conference on 6th September. The talk – “Building a sustainable interprofessional educational platform to improve medication safety”- described the importance of a pharmacist’s role in engaging young doctors in medication safety and improving their prescribing skills. This innovative initiative was warmly applauded by the packed auditorium. Max Health™ is proud of its commitment to education and development in the Hospital Pharmacy sector, and especially pleased to have supported such a valuable piece of work.
