The winner of the NZHPA Max Health™ Pharmacy Grant for 2013, Avril Lee from Waitemata DHB presented an interesting talk at the NZHPA conference on 6th September. The talk - “Building a sustainable interprofessional educational platform to improve medication safety”- described the importance of a pharmacist’s role in engaging young doctors in medication safety and improving their prescribing skills. This innovative initiative was warmly applauded by the packed auditorium.
