Welcome to Max Health Ltd- providing Products & Solutions to the New Zealand Health Care Market. We distribute a variety of pharmaceutical products in New Zealand for a number of international partners and pride ourselves in providing the type of service that keeps our customers coming back. We are a small (but perfectly formed!) company, with many years of pharma experience between the directors, and a business model that allows us to tap into the expertise of specific skilled providers in regulatory, technical and other specialist disciplines. Our size keeps us efficient. Our expertise, local knowledge and network of contacts ensures that we deliver quality…in everything we do.

Company history

Established in 2009, Max Health has grown steadily since. Our foundation partner, Martindale Pharma, based in the UK, provides the core of our hospital injectable portfolio of products.

Allied to this is a number of difficult to access medicines that we have sourced, often following requests from our Hospital Pharmacist customers, to supply to the local market. We have built from one product in 2009 to our current stable of over 25 products that we make available to our New Zealand customers.

Each of our products meets a recognised need in its particular segment. A strategic partnership with distributor Onelink facilitates fast and efficient delivery of these products to our hospital and wholesaler customers throughout the country.


First sales for Max Health were realised in early 2009 following a deal done with UK company Martindale Pharma. The Martindale portfolio has since grown to 12 products, with several more in registration. This has since been augmented with products from a small selection of international suppliers.

Success of the company is down to not only dedicated hard work, but also the intimate knowledge of the local environment and continual contact with our Hospital based customers. Often considered a 'tender market', New Zealand pharma actually offers opportunities both within and outside the tender environment. Smart, local operators can take advantage of this situation to deliver value to New Zealand hospital customers. This has been the vision and mission of the Max Health team and has lead to MAT sales growth of over 50%, year on year, and consistent incremental returns for our international partners including Martindale Pharma, Orion Pharma from Finland and Hameln Plus from Germany.
